RECENT WORK-IN-PROGRESS

MICE WORK

A 1-4 player cooperative roguelike where you build buildings and avoid causing workplace accidents. Worked on the multiplayer and gameplay systems.

DEMO REEL

A brief overview over some of the projects I've worked in over the last couple years.

BGM: "Moonlight Stormvalley", "Takkyu For Playing" - by me!

Gameplay

In the project Mice Work (Prototype Ver), I implemented various gameplay mechanics in multiplayer inside Unity.

The following mechanics are shown within the demo video:

  • Using a tool to build structures

  • Using the same tool to harm allies

  • Giving allies blueprint vision by standing near the blueprint

  • Physics based damage that runs in multiplayer

I've also implemented the UI for this one!

This is my first time working on a bigger multiplayer project, but utilizing various documentations, testing, and tutorial, I was able to code features that ran smoothly with Steam integration!

Music & Sounds

In the game King of Ping-Pong, besides the gameplay loop, VFX, and other things, I've also worked on both the SFX and music of this game.

The video shown demonstrates some of the SFX work inside the game, while the other video is one of the many soundtracks inside the game - a boss theme, to be precise.

The idea behind the sounds is a mix between retro / chiptune with a more modern tone - each enemy character has their own theme in their own genre, but with the game's leitmotif subtly inserted into the theming of it.

This chiptune effect reflects in everything - from UI sounds, to ingame SFX, to the soundtracks.
