Winner out of 2.4k other games in Pirate Software's Game Jam 15. A short game where you combine elements to invoke hundreds of unique bullets to fight off shadows.

King of Ping Pong: MEGAMIX

Lead Programmer, VFX & SFX Artist, Composer

On Steam! King of Ping Pong Megamix is a Boss-Rush Arcade game, in which table tennis warriors from across the globe gather under a single tournament to do battle and find out who is strong enough to claim the coveted title, 'King of Ping Pong'.

Made in Unity using custom ball physics, a new take on the boss rush genre, and soundtracks by me.

The Good, the Bad, and the Alchemist

This short game is one of the ten winners for Pirate Software's Game Jam 15, out of 2.4k other games, made in 2 weeks. Gunslinging with Alchemy against Deadly Shadow Monsters.

We Ball (2024)

We Ball is a 2-4 player couch-multiplayer game developed by my group Suspicious Jam in collaboration with Super Studios in Global Game Jam, taking a total of 48 hours of development time.

Mechamode (2023)

Gameplay Programmer, UI Artist, Composer

A first-person-shooter roguelike developed in 2 weeks. The gameplay involves randomly switching modes with a degree of player control over the randomness.

Mystical Valley (2022)

Gameplay Programmer, UI & VFX & SFX Artist, Composer

An orientation-based rhythm game with 3 unique soundtracks, developed in 2 weeks. Your controls will keep changing throughout the game, forcing you to adapt or fail.

King Of Ping-Pong: CLASSIC (2023)

Gameplay Programmer, Composer, SFX Artist

An arcade game not unlike fighting games that tests your skills and reflexes, developed in 1 month during Greenlight Jam 2023.

Custom ball movement was developed in place of Unity's physics in order to simulate smooth ball trajectories.

The Spiritwalker (2023)

Gameplay Programmer, UI & VFX Artist

A short platformer with a unique out-of-body mechanic developed within 3 days. Your body might not be able to move through solid walls, but your spirit can go through some!

Arknights Gacha Animation Recreation (2022)

A recreation of the Gacha Animation from the game "Arknights" in Unity 2019. Open source on GitHub.

Drag any images inside the project to automatically animate it.

Custom MMO Minecraft Server (2021)

A community of 30 concurrent at anytime, and 1200 overall players, in a custom modded Minecraft Paper server open during the lockdown.

A lot of the mods are custom-made, and everything from codebase, server-management to community building and events is managed by myself.

I’m David, a passionate game developer with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from RMIT Melbourne, graduated at the end of 2023.

I have around 5 years of experience with the Game Engine Unity, along with other skills in illustration and music. I'm credited on my jam game works under the name "DevShark".
